Arrive & Explore

Materialize in the entry pod, cross the Great Hall, and find the bar at the centre of social life. From there: kitchen, storage, and wine cellar; a sky-domed conservatory garden and biology lab; a quiet library and main engineering; staff break rooms tucked off the work floors; and north of engineering — the Cat's Cradle.

Living World

Bartenders, waiters, chefs, gardeners, librarians, engineers, lab techs, and a long-suffering cat sitter keep the place running. Off-duty staff lounge in break rooms with coffee and radio. Rooms have ambient life of their own. Staff notice when you walk in — though not everyone has time to chat.

Meet Freyja

A spotted Bengal with a brass bell, she wanders on her own schedule — greeting, shadowing, knocking books and springs about, and claiming the occasional lap in her den. Try pet freyja when she is nearby.

Meet Thor

A large orange tabby Maine Coon mix — nearing twenty pounds of solid, friendly cat. He is clumsy (nobody blames him), loves everyone, and likes to chase after Freyja. He does not fit in her secret passages. Try pet thor when he is nearby.

  • The Garden — underground conservatory under a simulated sky.
  • Biology lab — habitat science and fogged growth pods.
  • Biologist Break Room — coffee, radio, off-duty lab staff (south of the lab).
  • The Library — classics, new fiction, and quiet clerks.
  • Library Staff Break Room — loud on purpose (north of the library).
  • Main Engineering — pipes, diagnostics, missing springs.
  • Engineer Break Room — off the board: coffee and soft rock (south of engineering).
  • Kitchen Staff Break Room — kitchen + waiters sharing a larger lounge (east of storage).
  • The Cat's Cradle — shared cat paradise; sit still at your own risk (and mind Thor's bulk).

House Rules

  • English is the lingua franca.
  • Don't be a dick.
  • Avoid politics, religion, and spicy controversy.
  • Beyond that, pretty much everything goes.

Getting Around

  • Move with n/s/e/w (and full exit names).
  • Toggle the map with @showmap / @hidemap.
  • Read signs with read; pet the cats with pet; sit in lounge rooms.
